Samuel Kariuki is a senior Business, Finance, and Investment Executive, with over 18 years of experience in Corporate Leadership, Finance & Investment and Audit. Prior to joining Mi Vida, he was the Managing Director at Centum Real Estate and previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, rising to Associate Director level.
His experience includes raising over KES 30 billion in funds for real estate and infrastructure projects, including through Kenya’s capital markets.
He holds an MSc in Finance (Economic Policy) from the University of London, an MBA in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University, an undergraduate degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and an engineering degree from Moi University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
He also holds a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Certificate in Construction Management from University of Cape Town.
He currently sits on the Advisory Board of Lesma Engineering, a construction company. Previously, he has served on the Boards of the listed Longhorn Publishers Ltd, Centum Real Estate Limited and Almasi Beverages Limited, a Coca-Cola bottler.
When he is not thinking of real estate investments, Samuel is an ardent mountaineer and a supports small scale farmers in rural Kenya to improve on agronomy and access markets.
